Areas to be focus during this drive are shown below:

• Fitment of Side Frane Key, Shackle Lock and Shackle Lock Pin, Centre Pivot Washer in wagons.
• CBC including APMs, Knuckle, Lock Lifter Assembly, Knuckle Pin, Anti rotation Lug, Coupler Hcads ctc.
• Shim heights in Coaching Couplers
• Operating handle inchuding bends, wear of bolts, corrosion in brackets, groove in bore of bracket, supporting device including springs.
• Gauges for checking of CBC including their calibration.
• Side buffers for dropping, condition of bolts, cracks in casting, Also to check the availability and quality of tertiary locking pin in coaching CBC, where required to be provided.
• Maintenance of draft gear in workshops including loose bolts, extemal damage, seating in pockets, condition buff plate and application of grease, pre load value, condition of spring Column.
